A Research on the Development of Chinese Traditional Medicine: The Ejiao Case

The Ejiao industry cluster in Dong E County of Shandong Province is a provincial industrial cluster in Shandong Province. Ejiao industry involves two industries: traditional Chinese medicine and health care products. “Qi and blood” is the fundamental field of Ejiao. As the first nourishing brand in China, the derivative products of Dong’e Ejiao need to expand the market category. Donkey industry is the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine health industry in Dong E. As the foundation of donkey industry, animal husbandry has the characteristics of relatively low added value. Therefore, the core of donkey industry is the traditional Chinese medicine health industry.
