Drawing on the analytical framework of “a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind,” this article examines the multidimensional mission of universities in global governance transformation through four dimensions: talent co-cultivation, knowledge co-creation, civilizational mutual learning, win-win cooperation. Using a foreign language university’s practices as illustrative reference, the analysis shows that realizing this mission depends on four key mechanisms: integrated talent cultivation, problem-oriented interdisciplinary research, equal-dialogue-based civilizational exchange, and open collaborative networks for international cooperation.
